From southern Italy. Can be used green (less heat, more citrus flavor). Upright growth habit, 18-24" tall and 12" wide. Produces up until frost. Pick when red skin is slightly wrinkled. Well draining soil. Used in making pastes, sauces and flavoring oils. They can be used fresh, cooked or dried. Medium heat (hotter than a jalapeno but less than a cayenne).
