Often grown in pots or planters due to its invasive, spreading rhizomes. Best suited to loamy soils with abundant organic material. Grows rapidly. Feed bi-weekly and divide the whole plant every 8-12 weeks. Plants may get shabby late in summer but will return over winter. When plant stops producing, re-pot and thin out the roots.
