Biennial flat-leaf parsley is a glossy variety that is used in many gourmet recipes. It has a stronger flavor than many curly types. It turns bitter when it bolts. This is a great plant for containers and, you can also use it in vegetable and herb beds. Makes a nice, green leafy companion to small flowers such as pansies. More tolerant of hot weather than curly parsley and is frost-tolerant.
