The first yellow scalloped squash to be developed, known in Mexico for at least 8000 years and Europe before the 1600s. This squash is known for its nutty/buttery taste and can be eaten both raw when small or cooked. With its firm texture it can be grilled or even stuffed. It is a bush style plant of approximately 3 feet by 3 feet.
